OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
Amazon's FRA1 Fulfillment Center in Bad Hersfeld, Hesse, holds a unique distinction as the company's first logistics center in Germany, established in 1999. Located strategically in Central Germany, it operates alongside the nearby FRA3 center to manage significant FBA volume. Its central location makes it an important hub for fast distribution across Germany and Southern Europe.

Maximum weight: 500 kg per pallet.
Stacking & Stability: Boxes must be securely stretch-wrapped in clear plastic (black/opaque wrap is grounds for rejection). Wrap at least three times around the pallet base. Cargo must remain stable after the wrap is removed.
Box & Labeling Requirements
Box Dimensions & Weight: * No side may exceed 63.5 cm (unless the item itself is larger).
Max weight per box: 23 kg.
Heavy Package Warning: Boxes exceeding 15 kg must be marked "Heavy Package" on both the top and sides.
Labeling Precision: * Use laser printers only (inkjet barcodes often smudge and become unscannable).
Place labels at least 3 cm from edges and never over a seam or tape.
Every box and pallet must carry a unique, valid FNSKU or shipping label. Mixed SKU pallets must be clearly marked as "Mixed Merchandise" or "Mixed SKUs".
Strategic Staging & Operational Support for FRA1
Navigating the requirements of the Bad Hersfeld logistics hub demands professional oversight and administrative resilience. FLEX. acts as your tactical staging partner, ensuring your inventory is fully optimized for the FRA1 terminal. Evaluate these core pillars to see how our solutions can streamline your path into the German market:
- Does your inventory require professional auditing to meet German intake rules? Success at FRA1 depends on perfect physical presentation. Our FBA prep in Germany service conducts a comprehensive pre-arrival audit at our staging points. We stabilize your Euro-pallets, optimize barcode positioning for scanners, and ensure that every unit meets Amazon's rigorous standards, effectively removing the risk of costly gate refusals.
- Are you seeking to resolve administrative burdens with professional fiscal support? Managing cross-border trade into Germany involves rigorous reporting and documentation. Our German customs clearance broker service handles the heavy lifting of import compliance and VAT synchronization. We pre-verify your cargo so it arrives at the FRA1 gate with all fiscal requirements met, ensuring zero customs-related friction and immediate intake.
- Do you need a dedicated partner to handle your European returns and removals? Maintaining a lean inventory at FRA1 is essential for long-term profitability and IPI health. Our service for processing Amazon removals and returns in Germany provides a professional destination for your non-moving stock. We receive your removals on German soil, performing quality checks and re-kitting items so they can be reintegrated into your sales channels, saving you from expensive disposal fees.
