Amazon FBA and Vendor

Amazon FBA is a fulfillment service for 3rd party sellers using Seller Central, where brands ship products to Amazon’s fulfillment centers and Amazon handles storage, picking, packing, shipping, and customer service. Amazon Vendor Central is an invite-only platform for brands who sell their products wholesale to Amazon, allowing Amazon to then handle the entire sales and fulfillment process, including setting the final price.

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) allows third-party sellers to store inventory in Amazon’s German fulfillment centers, where Amazon handles storage, packing, shipping, customer service, and returns. Germany, a key hub for Amazon’s European operations, hosts over 25 fulfillment centers (e.g., Bad Hersfeld, Leipzig, Dortmund), supporting domestic and Pan-European FBA for cross-border sales to markets like Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, and Amazon.nl.
