Amazon ungated categories refer to product categories on the Amazon marketplace that do not require additional approval from Amazon before a seller can list items in those categories. These categories are considered "open" and any seller can list items for sale without the need to apply for approval or meet specific qualifications.
Examples of ungated categories can include books, toys and home goods.
